We're now going to show you how to insert and extract pages using nitro pro 9 to insert a page into an existing PDF once you have your document open you'll want to select the edit tab in the toolbar from there select insert in the dialog box that pops up select the file you want to insert you'll then be given options about where you want this file inserted and which pages you want inserted first choose if you want to insert individual specific pages from your file or the entire file if it's multiple pages next choose where to place your new pages either before the first page after the last page or in between two pages anywhere in your document we've selected to insert pages after the last page now when you scroll down your document you're inserted page is an editable part of your multi-page PDF document now we're going to show you how to extract a page or multiple pages from your document again we're going to open up a four page document in nitro Pro and click on the edit tab will then select extract in the dialog box that pops up you'll have options regarding which pages you want to extract you can extract the current page you're on the first or last page or select a page by typing in the specific page number you also have the option of extracting all of the even or odd pages for this demonstration we've chosen to extract the first page if you want to permanently delete the page you're extracting click the delete pages after extraction box we've opted not to delete our extracted page for this demonstration once you click extract your page will be removed from your file as we did not choose to delete this page it now opens up as a separate document in nitro pro 9 and that's how you insert and extract pages.
